Personal and Family Information

Mechtilde was born about 1248 in Stendal, Sachsen, the daughter of Otto III von Brandenburg and Božena Přemysl.

She died on 20 DEC 1316 in Marienkirche, Szczecin, Szczecin, Zachodniopomorskie, Poland.

Her husband was Barnim I von Pommern-Wolgast, who she married on BEF 16 MAY 1267. The place has not been found. Their three known children were Otto I (<1279-<1344), Mechtilde (?-1315/16) and Mirosławę (c1270-<1328).
